Is there any way to convert my formatted resume into plain teXt again?
Basically I am undergoing major Job Hunting and a lot of posting nowadays ask you to insert your resume in the body of the e-mail. We all know that the formatting gets all messed up and on top of that when you try to make is presentable, it still sends all messed up. The only way I thought to eliminate this is to actually type out my resume in the body every single time or have a plain teXt boring copy around to copy paste.help!
1. Go to the formatted doc
2. Hit Ctrl+A – Select All
3. Right Click – Copy
4. Open a new Word Doc
5. I have MS 2007 so this is what I do: Home – Paste dropdown – Paste Special – unformatted text
This should give you what you want.
You can also copy all (1,2,3) and
4. Open Notepad
5. Paste
Hope this helps,
