I need help with Sample Resume?
Hi I have been working as a Software developer for 4 years now and I am looking to change companies. I havent touched my resume in 4 years and would like to see some good site with sample resumes.
I know I can just type it into google and it will give me a bunch of sites. But thats not what I am looking for. I did that and every site presents the Software Developer resume in a different format.
If someone here has a particular site that offers good sample resumes, thats what I am looking for.
I am not sure if this will help but I always found that Word had good sample resumes, that is what I used to create my resume and it has always gotten me interviews. Another thing I can suggest is to create your own resume using the software writing skills you have. Say if you are looking for a Oracle developer job you can create a resume in oracle forms, if you are looking for a Java developer job create a java applet.

I have several samples on my site, although none are IT. Some of them are quite different from the norm, especially the ones from my books, so at the very least you may get some new ideas.

I was in the same situation that you are a few weeks ago. I needed a resume and i didn’t know where to start. i tried writing on on my own but it didn’t look right or work out at all. so i did a search on craigslist and found an interesting listing. It was for a resume writer. I emailed the guy and within two days he had crafted me a fantastic resume that not only got me the interview, got me the job, but also got me a higher wage because the interviewer liked the resume THAT much!
