How can I stop a watermark in windows 2007 from pushing the last sentence of the1st page onto the 2nd pg?

i have typed a resume and added the word "sample" as a watermark…it looks perfect except it is moving the last line of the first page onto the 2nd page – my document is formatted in such a way that all of the first page sentences need to stay on the first page…help!

Are you sure it’s the watermark doing that? There’s a "feature" called Widow and Orphan control that tries to prevent lone lines from appearing at the top or bottom of a page. Check out this:

1. Right-click in the last paragraph.
2. Select the Line and Page Breaks tab.
3. Clear the Widow/Orphan Control checkbox.
4. Click OK.

Hope that helps.
