Every time I upload a resume from MS Word 2007 online the spaces are a mess, What do I do to fix it?

However, when I type it on word everything is even, is it just a formatting issue?

If you upload to a straight text file, your format is guaranteed to be messed up. Straight text has little more than spaces and tab characters for horizontal spacing, no fonts, no tables (often used in Word resumés to position historical data both horizontally and vertically).

Unfortunately, unless the receiving site accepts the new .docx format, the older but still almost a standard .doc format or the limited Rich Text Format (.rtf) files, there’s nothing you can do about it.

Sorry,
