Does anyone know the format when typing a resume in microsoft word or any websites that can tell?

Here’s examples and an explanation of a number of different formats that resumes can be created using Word (plus it contains lots of tips on how to develop a resume):

Microsoft word comes with templates you can use to help you format your resume.

If you go to File, then select NEW, you should be presented with a list of templates to open – select OTHER along the top, and there will be some samples to get you started.

if you don’t like the ones that come preloaded, you can visit http://www.microsoft.com, and under their downloads section you can search for different ones.

    Good luck!
