give me nice tips on writing a resume?
i want to make a resume, please help me with impressive bylines and slogans asap
First and foremost understand the RESUME is mirror of what you are to the prospective employer.
It needs to be impressive enough to sustain the attention and interest of the reader.
Slogans or tag lines wont help in a Resume. These things make the Resume Jazzy, and gives an impression of mis-leading the reader.
Here are a Few Tips:
Keep it simple and neat FONT. ( Times New Roman- 12 is advisable)
The resume should not exceed 2 pages. ( unless u have a huge set of work-ex wherein a 3rd page needs to be included)
Follow a desending order pattern, where the latest achievements are mentioned at the top and then go down the line.
For Eg:
Latest Work Experience
Acedemic Qualifications
PG
Graduation
10+2
10
Additional Qualificaions, if any
Keep a check on Grammar and spellings. These things matter the most. A single spelling or grammar error can spoil the show.
A Resume well filed with a transparent folder gives a good impression.
Good Luck and All the Best~

Tip 1 – Use Titles or Headings That Match The Jobs You Want
With employers receiving hundreds of resumes you must make sure that your resume hooks an employer’s attention within a 5-second glance. A great way to do this is to use job titles and skill headings that relate to and match the jobs you want. For example, compare the headings Roger used in his before resume to the headings used in his after resume. Before Resume:
Accounting / Recordkeeping
Administrative
Computer Skills After Resume:
Management of A/R and A/P Accounts
Computerized Accounting Applications
Departmental Administration / Recordkeeping
Which set of headings are the strongest for an Accounts Payable / Receivable Manager position?
Even though Roger’s title was Accounting Assistant, he actually managed over 1,000 A/R and A/P accounts. Using skill headings that market the true nature of Roger’s job duties will generate him more interviews and higher salary offers. Well, for your objective: mine has to do with a deputy sheriff position, and I put, for example (I was helped out by a county worker who instructs resume writing)- to obtain a deputy sheriff position in which I can utilize my training and experience. There are also things called target resumes, where you just put the jobs that you’ve worked in which reflect the job you are applying for. On mine, I have Mervyns because it is a good reference, and shows I have interacted with customers as an associate (was told not to put my other associate jobs because of the amount of time I worked there, and they are irrelevant) and I also have two other jobs that were security positions (I worked at about 13 different places, but only have 3 on my target resume)…you basically put the place worked, the position, and "duties included:" and explain the duties. Then, at the bottom I have my education. I was told not to put my references on this, because you are supposed to do a separate reference page. However, I like my old style resume, where I had my objective, all my jobs, and my references listed within 2 pages.
