Keep the resume to one page. A person receiving it does not want to spend time sorting through it. Be sure to put your name, address, phone number and objective at the top. Choose a typeface that is clear, and easy to read. Place importance on your education followed by your work experience. If this is your first job after school - it is okay to put down McDonald's but if this is for a job in your chose career field and you've worked already, don't add the McDonald's - put the real world work experience down. Keep your descriptions to one to three sentences. Don't overload anyone.
