Do you have any evidence at all of your situation - why don&#039;t you inquire at your nearest British Embassy?  I&#039;m a Brit who successfully renewed my British Passport at the British High Commission (Embassy) in Kingston, Jamaica because I was resident in Jamaica at the time&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
