I need to make a resume for William Hogarth (political satirist in the 17th century. really dead by now.) for a history project, but the only resume builders I can find are set so that the start and end dates of jobs can only be between now and 1930something (and I need something around 1697…) any ideas?

:] thanks!

Why not just follow the online resume builder for CONTENT and FLOW and build your own resume? For example:

CONTACT INFORMATION – William Hogarth, City, State and e-mail address

CAREER OBJECTIVE: – What do you think he set out to do as a satirist?

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND: – Where did he work? Did he travel from country to country? What jobs did he have growing up? Do you have approximate dates? If so, you could enter them thusly:

NEWSPAPER EDITOR
London Times, – London, England
1635-1645

OTHER RELATED SKILLS: – Did he do anything besides write? Did he write books? Did he write for a newspaper? For example:
- Acerbic tongue
- Quick wit
- Excellent command of current events
- Strong vocabulary
- Politically connected

REFERENCES: – Who did he poke fun at? Who lived during the same time period that he may have known? For instance:

Bill Shakespeare – Professional Playwright
Mary – Queen of England

I hope this helps.
