Oil Rig Job Location?

I’m separating from the military in 2 weeks with experience in the mechanical field and i want work on offshore oil rigs. Can anyone give guidance on where to start looking or what company i should work for.

If you haven’t worked on an offshore rig before, one of the things the offshore drilling contractors like to see is mechanical or technical experience, so you already have a plus going for you. Put together a good CV \ Resume, and apply to several offshore contractors. Transocean is a biggie; another company that actually specializes in offshore mechanics, even if you haven’t worked offshore before, is Danos&Curole.
