Has anyone ever gotten job offers by having a resume search-able on HotJobs?

Also, on the Hotjobs site, if you hit the apply now button, most take you to the companies own website where you have to go through a lengthy process of applying and registering and reformatting a resume for whatever format they want. So, what does the HotJobs site actually do? Is it just to search jobs?

They list job postings and contact info. You have direct links so its easier. Some have a resume entry so you can send it but you applied directly. Sounds ok to me.
