what will i write on my resume under education if
i’m a senior student and only a semester to go to graduate but decided to stop.
my course is accountancy.

STOP!!!!! Your specialty is Accounting, and you STOPPED??????? What the h–ll is wrong with you? You already have better than average job skills– the average boss or even owner doesn’t know a debit from an asset, and needs you urgently because his own ignorance is making him watch helplessly as his business falls apart. I started in Accounting pre-law and went all the way to a Ph.D. in English and Philosophy, and guess what? Academe left me out in the cold, but Accounting made me worth my weight in gold because nobody else could find his own butt in a hall of mirrors at high noon.
I have devised entire accounting systems still in use today, and at 16 I did a system for my father’s two businesses that got me a writeup in CPA Magazine. Damn’ right I’m proud.
So be clear and honest about what you’ve learned, and be specific–cost accounting etc. are valuable–and be clear about your plans to finish up and polish your education. In your case it makes you more valuable. They may not know it yet, but they’re suffering because they don’t have any people like you. Trust me–they’ll pay you far too little, but insist that they pay for you to finish your education or at least give you the time. THEN you leave the cheap b——-rds.
I wonder why you’ve chosen to stop, since the little you’ve written shows comfort with language as well as your chosen field. Play your cards right and the world or business will fall at your feet.
