How Far would you commute to work if you really loved your job?
I was traveling 34mi each way for a while on my last job.
My ex-boyfriend traveled like 50 but he got paid very highly.
There are many different kinds of commutes w/varying difficulties not just in distance.
If I loved my job, I would move near it, so a long distance commute would be ok til I settle.
I don’t think I could ever love a job enough to travel 40 mi each way. I have to think I would find something comparable nearby.

hubby drives an hour an 10 minutes to work every day and back. so 2 hours and 20 minutes every day.

I commuted 70 miles to work and back home each day for 33 years!! I loved my job. I was an elementary teacher!!

No more than an hour. As much as I may love my job I love my life and family and friends more!!! I spend enough time at work I don’t need to be spending tons of time getting there and getting home!!!

I have spent 7 years traveling 67 miles each way (134 round trip). I love what I do but I hate my job. Luckily I get 40+ mgp in my Honda!
If I loved my job, I would still not want to travel over 45 minutes each way (about 1/2 what I do now).

Well I commuted 1 to 2 hours each way for a job I hated so God only knows how far I’ll go for a job I love. But if it was truly a job I loved I would be getting paid enough where I could live where I worked so thats a tricky question for me. lol
