How to become a teacher’s pet in highschool?
I’m a freshman in highschool
I am planning on going to a prestigious university
I know that if you are on the good side with a teacher, he/she will let you go on some mistakes you make (for example, forgetting to turn in your homework) from time to time, etc.
I also want to get recommendations from teachers
Okay, so my main question is, how do you become a teacher’s pet without being annoying?
I want to be like, the student best friend of the teachers.
Thank you very much!
I am a teacher and I hate those students who kiss ass. Just do your work, try hard, contribute when you should, get your work in on time as often as possible (even so, i have the same consequences for everyone if they turn in assignments late).
Though your last statement "I want to be like, the student best friend of the teachers." sounds a little lame. Teachers already have lives, and unless they are incredibly needy the idea of having a student for a friend is a little sad.
Sorry if that hurts your feelings, just trying to be honest

Well when i was in hs the best way for that is to be most involved in sports and after school things.

If you move through the right track that would be much better on the long run. So focus more on improving your grades rather than thinking of ways to become a teacher’s pet. You might get through this year, with tactics of becoming a teacher’s pets. It might not work next time or on any other teacher, every individual is different. So be realistic and focus on your grades!
