How long does it take to become an elementary school teacher?
I really want to become a elementary teacher in New York. how long does it take? what is the salary? and what do i need to become a teacher?
You need a Bachelor’s in elementary education. Then you can then teach provisionally while you pursue your Master’s in Education. I believe you have five years to get your MA until your initial certificate expires.
